    Actually Australial cares quite a bit over it's population. It's not over run with asylum seekers like the UK and Canada, it doesn't have a bunch of illegals running lose like USA.

    They are trying to increase the population because in Australia there are a lot of baby boomers at present.

  4. Of course Australia, as a part of the world cares about overpopulation.

    This is why the World Health Organisation is continually developing new strains of known diseases, and generally new diseases.  People honestly think AIDS came from someone making out with a green monkey?  Sounds like a pretty cool story, and it would be will funny to watch, but its not true.

    The problem is because the normal process of natural selection has been perverted.  Things like safe work practices and work inductions have now stopped stupid people hurting themselfs at work, and in some cases even prevent the deaths of people that desperately deserve it.

    Why is suicide illegal?  Is that supposed to be some kind of detterant?  I think if you really want to help reduce the world population you should be allowed to.

  5. Nations with high AIDs infection rates grow faster in population than the wealthier nations, only their life expectancy is lower.   So it doesn't have much effect.

    The govt. needs an increasing population to collect more taxes, to pay for the baby bonus which increases the population to pay more baby bonuses.

  6. Over population in Australia - you must be joking!  I believe the opposite is a much bigger problem for Australia.  Australia needs more people (not less) in order to pay the taxes to support the dole blodgers in the manner which they have become accustomed.
