  1. Thats why we have to pay for the tv licence, so they don't show adverts in a program, they still have ads, but they're between different shows.

  2. What do you mean no advertising on the BBC Andrew Lloyd Webber has a regular programme advertsising his stage musicals that millions watch.

Blatant advertising thinly disguised as entertainment.

  3. I am also wodnering

  4. I wish they would because if they did, then we wouldn't have to pay for a t.v license.Advertisers pay all channels who advertise for them.

  5. Because mugs like me pay an overpriced licence fee & that's what funds the BBC.

  6. Because the BBC is funded by the TV Licence fee that you have to have to watch TV. Where as all the other channels are funded by  people paying to show adverts in the breaks.

  7. our TV licence fees pay for the BBC so they don't need to run adverts for revenue

  8. you pay tv license, they have their own infomercials.

  9. Because it's quality TV paid for by TV owners so you don't have to be bombarded with commercialisation every 10 minutes.

  10. it's great isn't t!  it is due to the licence fee which is nearly £140 for the year.  that is how the bbc have their revenue so don't have adverts.  you can pay the fee monthly, quarterly or all in one go. you have to have a licence though even if you never watched the beeb and will get a fine if you don't buy one!
