Why doesnt my car audio work with my DVD headunit?

I have an EONON 7" 1 din DVD TFT monitor with all the wires hooked up color to color, and the video is there, CD's and DVD's work, but there is no sound. My speakers are good, and my amp and connection is good, but there is no sound. what is wrong?

I would guess If you are using amplifiers you have the wrong remote wire hooked up, it should be a blue with white stripe, a solid blue would be for antenna, which would only power on when playing AM/FM radio.
