Why doesnt my debit card work on ebay?

ebay says u can use debit or credit, but when i try and use my debit it wont accept

  1. Because your card isn't endorsed by visa or mastercard. If it is you'll have the little symbol on your card. If it's not there or hasn't been activated you won't have on-line capability.
