  1. Perhaps none of your channels are broadcasting in digital yet. They don't have to switch until February 2009.

  2. go here

    http://www.antennaweb.org/aw/welcome.asp...

    click choose antenna

enter just your zip code, press submit at bottom

    click continue

    click show digital stations only

Now you know if there are stations in your area.

If you enter you actual address and not just the zip code, you will see exactly how far away the transmitter is from your house.

If you are within 20 miles, you just need a $20 antenna, like the silver sensor

  3. I had the very same problem.  I thought it was "user error."

Meanwhile I played around, and tried everything.  Still blank.

One day, I was tinkering and voila!  I now have a PBS station (not in full force yet.  Signal looks like a satellite in the rain, but its crystal clear!)  I actually got the stupid thing for our local ABC station (i.e. Lost) but they are not on yet.

Give it some time.  They still have quite a while to go before they have to switch over.  The chances are that anything you do get until then will be like mine.  Testing.

The good news is, the PBS station has 4 stations!  I hope they all are like that!

Who needs satellite!!!  Who wants to be ripped off!!!
