Why doesnt our YZ 80 Idle..?

Question

My brother's 1999 yz80 wont idle. when you start it you have to keep revving it so that it doesnt die..it seems like the we're using the kill switch when we're not, if that makes sense. Its also super easy to start-i can start it with just my hand. Im thinking maybe a new top end??

I know everything about thumpers, but not these. So can you guys help me out?

because it is a race bike you have to keep the RPM's high or it will die. it is not your top end.

beause crossers dont u av to keep em revin or they die u know and u av to pul clutch in when u stop  and keep the revs on a little
