Why doesnt the u.s. host the summer games every other time?

i mean why not have the summer olympics in the u.s. every 8 yrs.

are you for real? are you really so greedy? or are you one of these people who comes in here trying to make Americans look bad?... there is a world beyond the USA you know.... the USA has already had more than its fair share of hosting the olympics for some time... I hope it does not go to Chicago in 2016....

there were 203 other countries apart from U.S. in the olympics this year

maybe because America is one country out of 203! What makes them so special? I agree with 76gyuyg. Everyone hates the americans.

Only because they think they are so superior to every other race. I am not saying that they all are. But a lot of 'em.

See above + America are not that bothered about them (except the medal table). They prefer other 'sports' such as American Football and Warmongering.

Why? They cost a fortune to host.

In L.A. (1984) they had an outdoor swimming and diving pool and the rest of the venues were below standard.

In Atlanta (1996) they had a bombing, not their fault but it did put a dampner on the proceedings. Sadly innocent people died and were injured. Why would you want to take the chance of something like that happening again?

I can't comment on the L.A. games in 1932 I wasn't around then.
