Why dogs and other animals dont have life line?

My 5 yr old daughter has asked me this question and i want to give her some logical answer

coz in all organisims the human are most sensible  and humourous  the birds insects etccc. are all small species and so do not understand much as us so have small life line...........

you mean like on your hand. tell her thier paws are too furry to see it. its there, under all the fur.
