Why Are they trying to ban Zimbabwean cricketers?

If a test match against Zimbabwe was as lucrative as say 'the ashes' they wouldn't cancel a tour even if their leader was Hitler.

Australia will not do this.

Australia and China have a strong economic relationship. Australia supplies Uranium to China and China supplies basically everything to Australia. China and India are economic superpowers due to it's cheap labor. If Australia boycotts from the Olympics, the following will occur:

-very poor economic condition

- Lower GDP, Australia makes money from exporting commodities to countries like China and India.  

- Australia will have to switch economic partners. This will be more expensive. Australian economy will lose money.

- Deficit will occur.

- Deficit will cause a recession.

- High Unemployment rates

This will kill Australia.  

Also Australia are good at  sport and usually end up high on the medal tally.  

Australia has nothing to lose by suspending ZC from international cricket.  

Cheers for India for sticking up for whats right and not caring about what other nations say.

Why shouldn't call off the Olympics? Why just single out Australia?  Many countries have the issue of human rights with China recently. So should they just shut down the Olymics right now? Well probably not ... but there a lot of countries with equally hypocritical stances to Australia.

I was not aware that Australia was trying to ban Zimbabwean crickets, just to have Zimbabwe demoted as a country with Test status.

Well If International community boycotts Olympics then I am sure Australians will not participate also. Why doesn't India boycott Olympics they are not gonna win any medal anyway

anyway, the Australian government fund a lot of money into the Olympics and if they withdraw, it will be a waste of money. Also the Australian athletes train for nothing except the Olympics. Finally, the aussie public will be so outraged if the government decide to withdraw from the Olympics!!! The Rudd government wouldn't dare to do such a thing!!!

The Olympics have nothin 2 do wif whales or humen rights, and black mailing a country 2 do somthin is not the answer. And australia will kick the s**+.t out of every other Cricket playing nation in the olympic tally so eat s**+.t
