The guys are right about them being junk to start with

and i have never really thought about it but i would guess they would not handel the higher revs of a two stroke they wont stay togeather now never mind at higher revs

4-strokes are more efficient, and they do for racing. btw.

It's an emissions thing. If you want a dirtbike, stick with the japanese ones, they're more expensive, but last way longer. You can get a great used one fairly cheap.

Well you haven't given us a reason for them not to make 4-strokes.

The DOT has all but banned 2 strokes.  So it makes no sense to make those for only small market.

P.S.  don't guy Chinese brand bikes / scooter / atv.  My best budd's son got one for his B-day.  It leaked oil from day 1 and never ran right.  Doing the internet search, we found it was just junk - everyody's opinion.
