Seriously, what use is quoting the Bible to try to convince a non-Christian? I see it more and more often here on Y!A.
Non-Christians don't believe that the Bible is the word of God. For them, it's just a book, no more believable than say, the Quran, Talmud, Analects or Upanishads.
Secondly, when you say that "not a word in the Bible has ever been proven to be wrong, even though people have tried for hundreds of years", you should realize that nobody but Christians believe that statement. Us non-Christians thinks the Bible is full of contractions and errors, such as claiming there was a worldwide flood, while basic geology that such an event has never happened.
We all have our own viewpoint on things, that's natural, but, fundy Christians really has to start understand that their opinion is not universal.
