Why don't Christians just read and obey the new testament ?

-Lev.15:19-24-States that you shall not come into contact with a women in her period of menstrual uncleanliness.

-Lev. 9:27-States that a person who cuts their hair should be put to death

-Lev. 11:6-8-States that you cannot touch the hide of a dead pig yet many of you love to play football.

-Lev. 11:10-States that it is an abomination to eat shellfish. But I'm sure that many of you love your lobster and shrimp.

Plus where to sell your daughters, and where to buy and sell slaves..

Because to read implies using your judgment - christians don't posses it..

Wasn't Jesus about love, kindness, gentleness???  Where did you heard that? Not in a church, that's sure. Definitely not from the bible, that's blatantly clear.

Those were laws given to the Jews. They do not apply to non-Jews.

This is why the book of Acts is one of the most important books in the Bible, because it explains the change where the primary focus is following the Old Testament (called the Law) to following teachings of Jesus, and to a lesser extent, the Apostles.
