Question:

Why don't I get his letters?

He lives in southern Illinois. I live in eastern Pennsylvania. He used to send me letters quite frequently, 3 or 4 times a week. In about late February of this year, his letters began to get lost in the mail. Since then, he's tried sending around 30 letters on different days, in different months, yet they ALL get lost. He never receives them back either.

Why aren't ANY of them getting through anymore?

And just for the record, yes, I know for a fact that he actually sends them. When I was visiting him (in IL), we mailed an empty envelope to my house (in PA), and I never got it.

  1. Mysterious. Check with the post office to see if there is some problem with your name and address.  Tell them there has been a problem.  But if you get other mail, then it seems that the problem is not with the PO. Does anyone else pick up your mail or have access to your mail box?  Does someone not want you to be corresponding with this person?  Have him send a letter asking for confirmation and 'return receipt'.  This way you have to sign for it and he will get a card saying it was delivered.
