Why don't I like the sims 2?

I played it at a friends house and it was awesome. I now have it for my MAC and it is sooo boring, I do not have any expansion packs. i liked it so much at my fiends house why don't i like it now? I REALLY WANT TO LIKE IT

I have the sims 2 too, and I know it can be a little hard to get into it after a while. first I'd suggest getting some of the expansions packs, they really do enhance the game. second, try getting a "project" started, like make a house full of people and have them all cheat on each other, something stupid like that. You can get a lot of amusement out of it. Also, try www.thesims2.ea.com. You can download loads of custom stuff from there like clothes, houses etc. I'm not entirely sure if you can download tuff for macs, but it's pretty likely. You can aso also make your own clothes and custom content through the sims 2 body shop which you should have. Some tutorials are here:

Again though, I'm not familiar wit macs, but I assume that everything i the same.

get a expansion pack (seasons!) or try killing them^^
