Jr. doesn't like road races. he doesn't do well in them because he doesn't like them. He said himself. I think he did pretty good for someone who dislikes them as much as he does.

Road courses take skill, and frankly Dale JR does not have the type of skill it takes to win on a track such as that. Seems the only way he is in victory lane is by way of saving fuel or winning at restrictor plate tracks. How bout Kyle?

Rowdy is way more like Junyah's daddy than Junyah is. I think the intimidator passed those aggressive genes on to Kerry or Kelley instead of Junyah.

no, they mentioned it many times during the broadcast - there are MANY drivers who are just happy to get in and out of a road course race without losing too much in the overall points. that included not only junior, but kenseth and many others who by their own admission are not good road course racers. as they also brought up quite a bit, earnhardt sr. hated road courses too. and that he hung in there and pulled out a twelfth place finish is what makes him a contender this year.
