Why don't NBA players wear their numbers in the Olympics?

I was just watching the USA-China game and noticed that no player is wearing their usual number. I noticed it at the last Olympics too but didn't think much of it.

to make it look popular so when they have jerseys available they can buy seperate and get more money for example kobe 24 in the lakers and kobe 10 people will maybe buy both so its more money

In Olympic basketball the numbering goes from 4-15 no other numbers are allowed so thats why you see plays like Kobe and Lebron who wear 24 and 23 respectively have to convert to differrent numbers when they play with Team USA
