Why don't NINE get rid of that pathetic Warren & get a decent commentator?

He is always 5 plays behind the action, rudely ignores the other commentators to push his own (usually inept) opinions, & thinks that bellowing like a stuck pig is what makes for good commentary.He also likes to give the impression he once was big in league, he wasn't! I come from the same area he did(the riverina) & I don't think he played more than half a game of footy in his life.

Can't agree with you there, He is extremely knowledgeable about the sport, calls it very well and knows alot of league  statistics about the players. At least he just calls the football, Voss just jokes around with his co commentators and misses half the game and Gould is just a whinging has been with a chip on his shoulder. Its not Ray Warren they need to get rid of, Its Gould and both idiot Johns brothers...

ray is completely the opposite of what you said, i have no idea why this small select people think hes bad, hes the best commentator for the job(voss's voice is just annoying and no one cares about the fox commentators) your saying he doesnt let people put in their opinion? are you deaf or what? all he does is call the game! PHIL GOULD IS THE COLOUR COMMENTATOR, hes the won that says his opinion.

are u joking his exactly the kind of commentator the game needs, he excites and lifts the game, his funny and he keep up so i dont kno what ur talkin bout.. u dont need 2 play football to be a good commentator btw.. thats just stupid sayin that
