Why don't Polaris and Tigershark make jet skis anymore?

I believe Polaris quit making personal watercraft a few years ago, but what happened to the Tigershark Montego, and why did both of these companies stop producing them? Thanks in advance to everyone's answers.

snowmobiles became too expensive.

they didnt have the technology to keep up with the bigger brands and they didnt sell enough product to support the manufacturing process
