Question:

Why don't Republicans get why Dems are talking about "experience" now?

McCain just gave away one of his clearest, most appealing advantages over Obama! No matter how much I like Obama, I had no real argument for an undecided voter on that--McCain IS more experienced. Now with Biden vs. Palin, he has opened up that issue again for us to argue. It means he has play defense on what one of his biggest strengths. Not a smart play...

  1. Still don't get why they are jumping on the experience bandwagon after telling us for months it doesn't matter.

  2. Actually Palin has more executive experience than Obama, Biden, and McCain. Not one of the three has ever had to make a execitive decision. Biden and McCain at least know how Washington works. Obama has the least knowledge of them all.

  3. We do!

The hypocrisy today literally takes the cake.. What is really funny is just how sad the left looks with its comments today.. Keep it up.!!!

Women across America are getting a taste of your sexism.

  4. Obama and his campaign are sexists. They showed that to Hillary. McCain and Palin will show them

  5. i disagree. the v.p. spot does lend itself to on the job training. she has legislative and executive experience. she is not a party sheep, she has the same maverick appeal as mccain. and i honestly think that mccain will push for her to be involved, just in case.

  6. I guess you fools will spew anything to try to make this seem like a bad pick. Oh yeah it was a bad pick.... for Obama. A little FYI, She's the VP on the ticket your wannabe is running for the presidency, BIG DIFFERENCE. McCain just sealed Obamas November fate, but we'll just play the wait and see game, and gleefully ignore your conspiracy BS for another EIGHT years. We'll be sure to say hi to all the Hill supporters at the polls. I wonder who all the feminazis will vote for now????????

  7. He hasn't given away his experience argument. He has taken the 'change' argument away from Obama!

  8. Lol, liberals never have and never will care about experience. If someone can promise liberals free stuff and lower taxes, they'll vote for them. Liberals are dumb and will vote for anyone who can promise them a bunch of stuff even though there is no way they can keep them.

And second, Palin has actually led a State, called Alaska, in fact, she has more executive experience than Biden and Obama combined. She is a strong and bold leader unlike the empty suit of Obama and the washington insider Biden.

  9. Governor Palin has something that McCain, Obama and Biden do not have. She has EXECUTIVE experience. Which means she has held office in the executive branch in Alaska.

  10. I believe the word you're looking for is HYPOCRISY.

Experience DOES matter. Obama's got LOTS of it. He served in the Illinois State Senate for EIGHT years and he was a US Senator for almost Four years. That's almost 12 years of experience.

Abraham Lincoln only had two years as a Congressman before becoming President.

George W. Bush had just SIX years as governor of Texas before becoming President.

Sarah Palin has been governor of Alaska for just two years. Obama's got more experience than all three combined!!

Obama sponsored more than 800 bills during his eight years as an Illinois state senator. And his U.S. Senate career, while brief, has been action-packed.

As for Obama’s list of his accomplishments, he’s right on every count. A Washington Post editorial credited Obama for helping to create "the strongest ethics legislation to emerge from Congress yet," and the Coburn-Obama Act created a new Web site, USAspending.gov, which allows anyone to see where federal contracting and grant money is being spent. Moreover, it was an Obama-sponsored amendment that ended Walter Reed's practice of requiring outpatient military personnel to pay for their own meals. And as a state senator in Illinois, Obama championed a bill requiring the police to videotape prisoner interrogations. Although initially controversial, the measure passed the Senate unanimously; even Republicans conceded that the turnaround was largely Obama’s doing. Finally, while Obama didn’t mention this one, we think it’s worth noting that the Lugar-Obama non-proliferation initiative provided funds for destroying nuclear weapons and for intercepting weapons of mass destruction.

    VOTE OBAMA / BIDEN '08!!

  11. cause liberals are running scare
