Why don't TV break for news near the top of the hour like radio does?

We would have a better informed youth if they did. They would have to cover something better than hollywood antics, them misfits are not worth the time and space. Heck, the county is in trouble on many levels, but the babylon of washington and California get all the press.

  2. The top of the Hour is the time when they make most of their money. The ad revenue is higher, when people are waiting for their show to start.

  3. Because they DON'T want to lose Us to a competing Station! When People stop watching the Entertainment "rubbish" that clogs out the REAL News- THEN we'll be better "Informed". But People aren't interested in Facts or Information... -It's Trivia they're after...-Something stupid enough for them to Remember & be able to talk about- around the Water Cooler, the next day...  :(  

  4. If a station thought that would increase ad revenue, they'd do it.
