  1. Because the highest capacity supported by the camera is 512MB!! Page 86 & 87 in your manual!!


  2. you need to provide more info..is it an SD memory card, or Sonys Duo Stick Pro?? But i can tell you that a 2gb SD card is considered SDHC (Scan Disk High Capacity) which means that your camera doesnt support SDHC cards..to see if it does refer to user manual or look where you put card in slot..hope this helps
