Why don't ads make sense anymore!!?

Ok, it's not like ALL ads don't make sense, but there are quite alot of ads that don't make sense at all!!

I mean.. how is a gorilla playing the drums going to make me feel like buying chocolate?! What are the marketing people thinking??!

It's supposed to be flashy so you become interested in buying it.
