Why don't boxers drink so much water??

did you ever watch 1 pound gospel which the boxer is like not allowed to drink water or sumthing like that...??

  1. Drinking to much water while doing running type exorcises will make you get cramp.


  2. I'm not totally sure of your question but if you are talking about boxers dehydrating, the reason behind that is to lose weight to actually make reach to the actual weight limit two days before the fight.

  3. Water affects the movement of a boxer. Example of this is when you are running and later you stop for a moment and decided to drink water. You will feel the difference in your stamina before and after drinking the water(that's is why Gatorade and Powerade was invented). Also, boxer drinking water in there fight will feel more pain in their stomach after being hit.

  4. This is so only during a fight or in sparring.  Why? Simple.  You wouldn't want to get hit in the belly while it's full of water, would you?
