  1. I'm also Christian and I believe global warming is happening..

    You're making a huge generalization.

  2. cristians do believe in global warming. you probably heard

this from sombody who was informed wrong or was just a little confused. hope this help

  3. Christians are no different than any other large category of people.  Some are informed and understand AGW is real and some aren't informed.

This group is among those that understand it's real:

  4. Well sometimes..they just dont Beleive in that kind of stuff

they belive that god is doing this for a good reason or something like that :) i really wouldnt know im just trying to help :)

  5. i'm christian and i do. So don't be so generalising!

  6. Maybe Christians are more intellegint than your question implies.  Perhaps they simply feel that they should resist the misplaced religious zealotry they observe in the Global warming cult.  Perhaps they feel that the money spent trying to hold back the power of the sun would be better spent helping the poor or curing disease.  I think a more probably answer is that the question is just hyperbole.  A survey of christians should be cited before such a question is posed.

  7. It doesn't have to do with your religion. I'm Christian, and I don't believe it's happening because personally, having the coldest winter on record tells me that there is no global warming. And Al Gore is really stupid, so, yeah. It's just a routine climate change, and it's not like we're going to die in 2012 or something..

  8. because they listen to the scientists and not the politicians. see often times they are republicans because of their conservative values.

  9. im christian...and i do... ... ... so that theory didnt work

  10. Another myth debunked:

Muslim, Christian and Jewish Religious Leaders Unite to Fight Global Warming

Does the Bible Predict Global Warming?

    Revelation, Chapter 11 verse 18 :

"God will destroy the destroyers of the earth".

  11. Where do you get your facts from.  FALSE

  12. Christians do believe the scientists about global warming. The Right-wing cults are not Christian, except in name.  As to why--they don't believe in global warming because their cult leaders have told them not to.  The motives of those leaders is pretty obvious, when you look at where their money comes from.  Pat Robertson, for example (and George Bush)  fortunes are in oil.  And who do you think is funding these so-called "evangelists?"  Or did you think their congregations are the ones buying them $20 million dollar jets?

  13. Not certain if you are saying that all people named Christian or all people who believe in Jesus Christ are being referred to in your questions.  In either case, there are people who do and who do not believe in global warming just as there are others, not included in either above group, do or do not believe in global warming.

  14. Actually this is already stated in the bible

    read Revaluations(sp?) hun

  15. I'm Christian, and I think it is.

  16. never heard that before.. global warming is a scientific fact

  17. the arrogance of the religion prevents to realize that THEY have an affect on the rest world.  It's just not only in God's hands.  Listen i believe in a higher power, call him/her/it God if you will...something created the universe and the earth.  The way i look at is this higher power or being was so brilliant in their creation that they created a something as simple as the single celled organism that evolved into something so complex as the multi-celled organism  AND where all these organism can evolve through DNA to fit and survive in every change of the Earth's climate.  I mean how magnificent is that!  That we as a ppl and animals can adjust to our environments as the Earth goes through it's cycles.  Anyway, what i'm trying to say is the Earth will prevail and we'll just have to learn to adapt...if you don't then we become extinct and then another species will take our places in the next 10,000 years or so.

  18. It's not necessarily that all Christians don't believe global warming is happening.

Though some do think that it's just an act of God for all "our sins"

  19. not all christans beilive global warming is happenig like im christan and i bielive but they probably think that god is coming?

  20. I don't at all agree with you're theory. I would say that people without a traditional faith, would be more likely to believe in Man caused global warming. I would bet on it for this reason. It is obvious just by looking around ourselves that men need religion. Look how closely the AGW movement follows any other religious movement.

  21. because jebus didnt make it

  22. ummm. i am and i do. soooo...

  23. Actually, Christians have been warning for 2000 years that someday the earth is really going to warm up.

  24. The one that don't believe in global warming actualy just don't care.  In their mind it may or may not be getting warmer but it does not matter becasue any day now Jesus is comming back and the dead will rise from the grave and God will cast the unworthy into h**l and fix up the Earth for the pure.

  25. I'm not a Christian and I believe it's natural...and I know many Christians who believe man's causing it.

If you're asking if their is scripture in conflict with this theory, the first that comes to mind is Genesis 9:11...

"And I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.

Here is a better explaination by a Christian source:

  26. First of all,I'm 11.I'm a Christian and I really do believe we on the verge of global warming. All these folks burning leaves, using cars, littering in river banks. It's very obvious.

  27. Currently even Pat Robertson does, so that doesn't really hold true any more.  The reason many were slow is probaly because they are more likely to be republican and like most people many like to go along with their party blindly until they see a good reason not to.

  28. ummmm.... b/c they do

  29. I'm a Christian and I didn't know we're supposed to believe it's happening.

  30. Because we're the richer and smarter religion of the world.

  31. Weird question.

What makes you think Christians don't believe in global warming?

I don't question global warming, but I do question if humans are the cause.  The Earth has gone through cold/warm cycles many times without our help.
