Why don't cloud shapes change constantly?

To the naked eye, clouds appear to maintain their form despite the presence of significant winds at altitude. Why do clouds not appear to be changing form constantly?

  1. Because of the Shape, height and Wind.


  2. They do change shape constantly. But they are also large and very far away, and the changes are not that rapid. Hence they appear to hold their shape for prolonged periods.
