  1. They insist they are part of a justice system. In reality they are just the hammer for a legal system that has run amok. Power corrupts, total power corrupts totally. Cops do many good things but so do many people yet we all must stand for whatever knee jerk legal punishment our legislature has been paid to pass, except police, politicians, prosecutors and judges. It is the cast system that came from England. Rich people buy their Justice. Poor people waste away i archaic and inhuman prisons run by sadists and crooked guards. More people leave prison addicted to illegal drugs than enter it. I know a prison guard with 4 kids and his wife and him both drive Lexus'.

The completely idiotic part is we give these people the power to take lives, and they do it often. When proved to be wrong they are incapable of admitting their fault let alone apologizing fort having twisted our legal system to fit their tiny minds. Responsibility? My God, most cops have the emotional and mental abilities of a teenager. They can't be responsible or they wouldn't be cops.

If given the choice between prison or running, go to Brazil and remember, their system is model-led after ours.

  2. People who make posts saying things such as what you and others say usually hate cops for  simple reasons. Most cop haters are criminals, thugs, and other miscreants who think they are above the law, ignorant of what a cop does or simply feel that if they were to be a cop, they would be corrupt or abusive based on their own misguided morals.

  3. cuz they're self centered jerks.

  4. oh they do take responsibility for there actions, how bout you show a little respect to the people trying to keep you safe

  5. because they think because they enforce the laws that they are above them.

  6. I'm not a cop.

I'm 47 and am currently working for an inventory company.

All the cops I have ever encountered have been nice.

I'm not sure what you mean by your question... which specific actions are you talking about that "cops" don't take responsibility for???

  7. Like with everything else, you hear about the bad cops and people tend to think they are all like that.  You hardly ever hear about all of the good things they do.  How about the one that saved someone's life, the one that chased a mugger, the one who rescued a cat, the cop who save a baby from the father who was trying to drown him. It's impossible to judge each cop by their actions.  How about the people who work at the Registry of Motor Vehicles?  Ever get a nice person to help you? You can't judge a few bad ones and compare them to the rest.

  8. because they think they're bigger then everyone else

because they drive a cop car, carry a gun, and handcuffs.

    they could suck.

  9. Those two things are completely unrelated.

Cops DO take responsibility for their own actions (in general).  I would imagine at a higher rate than society at large.

People don't like cops because our job is telling them what they can't do, and then holding THEM accountable for their actions.

  10. No they aren't the only ones.  Imagine if there were no cops.  It's only a small percentage of the cops that actually do the things people complain about. You didn't even give an example...

  11. because they donut have to.   get it?

  12. I have been in this line of work since 1979. I started as a army M.P. , then went into the civilian federal sector for many years. I am now working as a state officer. I have seen good cops and bad. I have trained cops as well. You can spot a officer who is going to be a problem and get rid of them, but sometimes the bad ones fall through the cracks. Just like in any other profession. Any time that I come across one, I'll do what I can to have him/her removed. They are not worth the  trouble. I have said this before, I get tired of cleaning -up their messes. I do not hide behind my authority. If I need to use it, I will! I have to live with the moral and  legal, consequences of every thing that I do.

  13. 'i mean you ever relize cops are the only ones saying their nice?"

Okay, I am an average, everyday citizen that works in healthcare.

Every cop I have ever come across has been nice.  Here's the key...BE NICE TO THEM AND THEY'LL BE NICE TO YOU...OBEY THE LAW AND THEY'LL BE NICE TO YOU.

  14. Why should they be any different from anybody else?

  15. My family and friends think I am nice......most of the time anyway.  They are the only ones who's opinions count.  I am not in this to be friends with criminals.  I'm here to keep things safe.

Unlike most criminals and others who blame me for all their problems I do take responsibility for my own actions.  Who are you blaming for your woes?

  16. I find the average person has a positive or no opinion of the Police.

I also find that the only people who have a 'problem" with the police and take the time to post about it are people who have numerous interactions with the Police. these same people are usually anti social criminals who can't grasp that what they do is wrong and can't stand when they are told that they can't do certain things.

I'm willing to bet thats you.

those who matter, don't care and those who care, don't matter.

I could care less what peoples opinions of me are. Follow the law, associate with decent people and you will never have to meet me. Plain and simple.

  17. I think it's sick when they shoot someone 10 times and then say i was emotionally charged up that's why i did it this would be a good excuse for criminals.

  18. i have nothing but the utmost respect for our police officers they are our front line of defense in this country i have never gotten a ticket i didn't deserve and have been let go a few times when i should have gotten a ticket you have to give respect to get respect. and for the most part cops will admit when they make a mistake you are judging all cops by the actions of a few does Charles Manson or John Wayne Gacy mean that all whites are mass murders and serial killers does Osama Bin Laden mean that all muslims are terrorist does mike tyson or O J simpson mean that all blacks are lowlifes

  19. Cops are held to a high standard than most people they take responsibility for there actions and then some.

  20. Because cops have that badge to hide behind and they have other cops cover for their illegal actions.

  21. I guess it's because they wouldn't want to go through that stress or whatever and no one else would want to in their shoes and just let the police company deal with it.

  22. Because they know the "system" will clear them of any  wrongdoing.
