Why don't dishwashers come with two filter sets, so you can wash the filters in the dishwasher?

Statistically, (I was a student in the 60s) speaking, it is more energy effective to use a dishwasher, than to wash up by hand and, surprisingly enough, it also saves water. So, all you Greens, have a look at the statistics.

Believe it would make dishwashers more expensive if they added more parts to the dishwasher this could be the reason why.

My uncle (a self made milllionnaire) always said 'corner the market'.  I reckon you've just got yourself a fab invention ... go patent it and corner the market!

Why don't you suggest that to the company that makes your machine?

Meanwhile, you just tripped over another reason I prefer to hand-wash my dishes.

Because the crud in the dirty filters would bung up the second set! Doh!

Wash everything by hand,it's quicker and cleaner!
