Question:

Why don't drive through intercomms have awnings?

It's common knowledge that people have to open their window to order. They generally have a small awning where you pick up the food but nothing where you order. I can't figure out why that is. I know that some places might have awnings but most do not. When it rains, people get rained on, the inside of their vehicle gets rained on and even the intercomm gets rained on.

  1. good. question. i hate when i pull up to a place when it's raining. my car gets wet then i get pissed off but then again i am hungry which is why i go there in the first place

  2. An awning would be nice but I'd settle for an intercom that sounds clear!  It always sounds like the person is mumbling or talking with marbles in their mouths.

  3. Good question. They should.

  4. Does it really matter I suppose there are no awning because sometimes the intercomms things is 'out on its own' a bit away from the building and it would cost too much money ?

Put in a suggestion and have others (friends etc) do the same .... it's worth a try
