Question:

Why don't fast food places (like McDonald's and Burger King, for instance), have home delivery?

If Pizza Hut and Domino's can do it, why not other fast food places?

I would REALLY like it if In 'N Out delivered to my doorstep, too!

  1. Interestingly, our A & W and KFC have delivery.

I guess the other places think if you really, really want it, you will go get it.

  2. Our Nation will get even more fatter!

  3. DELiVERY?!

    WTF ARE Y0U SERi0US l0l

iNCREASE iN CAR ACCiDENTS, F0R SURE

    PE0PLE'S 0RDERS W0ULD BE WR0NG ALL THE TiME

    UUUGHHHHH THE LiST G0ES 0N

  4. Because then all of America would become obese instead of most of America....the last thing we need is to be able to dial a number and within minutes pig down on soooo calorie filled foods that cloug your arteries.........does that clear things up for you....seems pretty logical to me!!!

  5. Because the cost  of delivery is too high for the income they would make from the average  home delivered order. Prior to the exorbitant increase in gasoline prices, our Dragon Buffet had a minimum dollar delivery order. It has been discontinued and several customers still come for " Take -out" orders.

  6. Hey, Dave, it's called FAST food. So, fifteen people want a delivery at lunch time, right? That's just the first twenty minutes of lunch rush.  How many people will it take to make timely deliveries, and how will they keep it all hot, that is essential to fries for one, and another thing, the cost that would go with this enterprise of delivery is staggering. I think you would be dissappointed with the product that was delivered to you if they tried to make a go of this idea. I feel for ya man.

  7. I think they actually might in larger cities like New York.

  8. While I agree that fast food delivery would probably be another convenient yet unhealthy meal option, I think the reason they don't normally deliver is that it would be unprofitable.  I mean, the gas to deliver would probably cost more than your meal itself!

In some cities, places like McDonald's do deliver, actually.  But I think (although I am not sure) that this is more of an inner-city option--where they can limit their delivery to a small geographical area but still reach a profitable number of customers.

I wouldn't care much about In 'N Out, myself, but I would love it if Moe's Southwest Grill would deliver :)
