Why don't girls come with an instruction booklet? ?

My ex and i dated for 3 months but she struggled with a relationship. She had been single for 3 years but still held hopes with her ex. We had a great time but she wasn't ready for a relationship with me. She still texts me every 3 weeks asking how i am etc etc. I wanted more and told her my feelings. I thought the best policy would be to walk away and have no contact - and if one day she's ready for a relationship - she might call me then. Is this the best policy? I told her that I don't want contact as I needed closure and she cracked it with me. Could I have done anything else?

Best thing to do is just dont talk to her... ever time you talk to her she knows that she can always go to you if anything goes bad with the other guy. Just blow her off tell she wants you then you well know...

i think that you did the right thing. You sound like you just didn't need her texting you so often reminding you of what didn't work out when you were probably just starting to forget it. I'm sure her intentions were good, but you did what was right for you.
