from the decomposistion and what not?

I always find putting flowers on a grave an ok experience but I wonder why they don't have any sort of smell?

  1. the bodies are six foot under in a box inside a cement box.  and at the time of death the bodies are embalmed other wise you would have unpleasant odors from them at the wakes.

  2. There isn't a direct passage of air up to the surface for the odour to travel on. Very small scale leaching may occur, that we can't detect.

  3. Because they are in boxes six feet under heavy ground?

  4. Bodies are being decomped inside their boxes.. the insects feed on them.. and they are deep uunder ground

  5. All reputable graveyards bury people at least 6 feet down,  in a concrete casing, and coffins are sealed airtight. The smell just can't make it through all that stuff, I guess.
