  1. they can very much get on horses. A neighboring slob had a farm next to ours. The uneducated people brought tons of dogs and cats, feral, and they were infested with fleas. Every horse in the barn had them and it was nasty. Chunks of hair and coat were pulled out by the horses and they were covered in wound from scratching and rubbing themsleves.

    If you have any animal with fleas, take care if it right away. Anything can get fleas


  2. I've seen some fleas on horses before. I only found 1.. But I think it's because the horse's skin is too tough for the fleas to bite and feed off of. Plus, the horse's coat is a lot different than a dog's or cat's.

  3. Fleas find it hard to get through a horses skin, but horses get other things dogs etc..don't get that are pests like bots etc.
