Question:

Why don't hypnotherapists like to put the fees they charge on their website?

I tend to find that a bit dishonest as it leaves you feeling that the prices must be so exorbitant they are not prepared to advertise them. Rather than making me want to continue looking for one [for exam anxiety] I can't be bothered now.

Why don;t they advertise their fees like other therapists?

  1. look into the eyes, not around the eyes, into the eyes, the fees are very reasonable and you don't need to ask what they are, 1, 2, 3 you're awake again!

  2. Maybe because they have a sliding scale ?

  3. Probably because they are expensive or they don't want other drs to see their prices. Just call them on the phone and ask them.

  4. don't know why they do it but, they do perhaps they can tell if your an easy target and so charge more for that person. how ever i booked to see one in Sheffield to stop smoking it was a one payment of £200 which had a life time guarantee that if you felt like smoking again ever they would book you in and do it all again for free, which made it sound more convincing, there are some that give a price but not many, just make sure that you have one before you go then hopefully they won't charge you more after.

  5. There is nothing underhanded or sneaky about that. It is a common knowledge of business that once the customer opens the door, the sale is half done.

Therapists of any kind don't like to advert prices or fees. I don't even know of many AMA Doctors that advert fees and services.

Psychiatry has been around and in use since 5 BCE, I never seen a Psychiatrist advert a price either.

Just another good reasoning for NHC. It seems to work in UK, Europe, Islamic Countries, Canada.....

  6. I tend to agree.  Hypnotherpists aren't the only ones who do this.  Not listing fees on the website makes me wonder about their honesty.

That siad, hypnotherapy might be a geat fix for your exam anxiety, so try calling one of these guys and get their fees over the phone.

    Good luck!

  7. Probably because they know their fees are expensive and it will put people off. However, if they get you to call they have a much better chance of convincing you to buy. Perhaps they'll hypnotise you into buying their therapy - creepy!

  8. cause you would go into Shock!

but when you go they put you under tell you the price is cheep, and not to remember this bit, wake you up.

then start the session for real, you just pay the 1000, and say thanks!!
