Why don't me and my sister look alike?

I don't understand like no one believes we are sisters but we have the same parents! The only thing we have in common physically is that we have the exact same talking voice. My sister Kayla is 5'9 and 115 pounds and I am 5'5 and weigh more than 115 pounds.

like everyone thinks she is so hot it is like they are implying that i am not

My sister and I are only 11 months apart and we look absolutely nothing alike either! It's really wierd... the only thing we have in common is that we have blue eyes and we have the same nose. Our eyes are a few shades different from each other though. She is very thin and growing taller by the day. I am not thin and I am only 5'3"! I am tan and have dark brown, curly hair. She is very fair skinned and has light blond straight hair. We have totally opposite personalities and mannerisms.

It's not super common for sisters to not look alike. But I'd imagine it has to do with your parents and your DNA.

you probably just haven't grown into your looks yet. :)

but you can always ask your sister to get some help with makeup or whatever.

and try not to compare yourselves.

my mom's sister used to be a "pretty" teenager and stuff, but now she isn't. so your sister can't stay really pretty forever! :D
