Why don't members on daily digest get special notices?

Some members on daily digest do not get special notices when they're sent. How can this be corrected and why is it happening?

did it post to your group? it should have. anyone who is getting mail should have gotten it- maybe they missed seeing it, digest can be confusing to read.

the only ones it wouldn't include is those on no mail

What does it mean to send a message as a "Special Announcement?"

This feature was developed for members who want to skip the day-to-day discussions of the group and instead receive only the most important updates from the group moderator.

When you post a Special Announcement, it goes to all members who get group email (Individual Emails, Daily Digest, and Special Announcements.)

I agree with the first answer.  Also, those members' emails may be bouncing or have been bouncing at the time special notices were sent out.  The members should also check their membership and make sure their email delivery has not been reset to something other than daily digest or individual emails.  That happens from time to time due to no fault of the member.
