Why don't modern fighters and bombers and such have pin up girls painted on them like in WW2?

i realize that its a different time and that people are too easily offended now a days, and yes i know women are in the military. i just feel its that personal touch for the pilots and crews of the planes, just curious that was all. i do love the ones from WW2 and have a few pictures hanging on my walls. ieatcrayons, frankly i dont have a problem with women or g**s, ive always seen them as equals, they can paint what they want on there. it also does not have to be girls, pilots painted whatever they wanted back in the day. id understand though if there were regulations on what would be too vulgar or crude.guess the nay sayers have to spoil it for everyone

ask N.O.W.   it is insulting to women to be thought of as beautiful creatures.  that is also why some women wear robes and head coverings .

Because we have moved into a more "Politically Correct" society and besides a lot of doors in today's military have been open to women. In World War II, there weren't a lot of female fighter pilots, air crewmen, and jet mechanics. Today's military has them all. A picture like this could be offensive and current protocol requires that if material is offensive to any one member it must come down. When I was in the Navy, we had a Snap On Tools Calendar with girls in bikinis hanging in our shop. A really religious guy complained about it and we had to take it down.

If the practice were continued, planes flown by women or g*y men should have pictures of male models on them.

Main reason is they're million dollar planes and they don't want paint and a color "shot me here " bullseye.

because they use special paint on the jets, theyre not just bare metal. they have specially formulated paint that somehow helps deflect radar waves. and also there were teams on bombers of like 5+ people nowadays its just one guy dropping a gagillion pounds of bombs on the ground.
