People seem to think it's so complicated, but why? Closest hand to 9 wins. So simple.

  1. It's a simple game and it's not intimidating, but it doesn't have as much popular appeal as other games.

Mini-bac has a relatively low hold percentage and fewer decisions per hour than other games.  It has to have more action than a blackjack game to generate the same revenue per table.  That's fine for the Palace Station, where customers gather to play mini-bac and midi-bac, but not good for places that have to hope strangers will pass by and want to play.  Unless a store has cultivated a mini-bac customer base, they will not be able to generate the revenues per table to justify having the game open.

  2. It's all about supply and demand.  Casinos spread the games that people get the most excited about.  Blackjack is universally popular, as is roulette.  Then various poker table games are spread because people like the excitement of poker, but lack the confidence to play against real opponents.

So it boils down to what they think the people are interested in.

  3. It's the intimidation from those James Bond movies. people think you have to be rich to play. I love the game and play it over 21.

  4. mainly because casinos will put the more popular games on the floor and not waste space on games thta are not being played
