Why don't people's personal home pages come up in searches anymore? how can i find random websites to go on?

I remember a time when you could find random people's websites and browse through them, i liked doing that!

Maybe your searches aren't obscure enough? I still find them from time to time.

Or you could try using a different search engine. I've started using Everyclick recently and compared to Google there's some very random results coming up.

I use the "Stumble" toolbar where you can jump to random(ish) sites that suit your interest, submit new ones and blog about them. It's very popular:
