Take God for example...why do people just blame him all of the sudden? It's not fair.

  1. Can't be stuck in the bronze age forever, you know.

  2. I believe in The Lord God. I know he is real . I have no problem reconciling science & the Bible. The Big Bang theory---God did say "Let there be Light" so what's to argue? God is my heavenly father, my friend, mentor & guide. If someone wants to think I'm superstitious, let 'em, I know the truth.

  3. You're right.  Too many people are rebelling against God and not reading the word he gave us and they are even mocking him and saying he doesn't exist and replacing science instead of the reality of the word of God.  God's word is true and alive and more powerful than any two-edged sword.  The weak and cowardly are the ones who are afraid to trust in God.  They are too stubborn and hard-headed to repent, have too much pride in themselves.  This will destroy them and they are just digging their own graves with this attitude.

Jesus is alive and well.  He is the way, the truth and the life.  No man comes to the Father except thru Christ.

  4. Faith is for suckers.

  5. people gottttt wayyy wayy more arrogant.

and now they think they know everything.

  6. People have all a sudden forgot that their is a devil, roaming around like a lion seeking who he may devour. He was made people mistake his work with God. Since when did God get a AK47 and start killing ppl?

  7. We've been steadily displacing superstition with scientific fact over the years.  Faith is for the weak minded.

  8. As people become more educated and sophisticated, they tend often to require actual information, evidence and facts when they're deciding whether or not to believe in any specific idea. When most people were uneducated and illiterate, it was easier to just take things on faith instead of actually analyzing them.

As for "blaming God", I'm not sure that anyone is actually doing that "all of a sudden". Either God is responsible for creation or He isn't. If He is, then He must be willing to take that responsibility.

Finally, as to it being "fair" or not, did someone tell you that life is fair? If so, why did you believe them?

  9. <Laughs> Well, we're no longer buying the old Bronze Age goatherder MYTH because we've... learned about The Real World. Deal with it.

And, it rally takes dumb people to say that the bible is "proof" of a sky pixie; no, its not. Facts and evidence are what count, not hoary old and badly written and edited MYTHS (There are literally hundreds of contradictions in the bible, so if thats "proof" of a god, then its also proof that hes a MORON...) of fiction.

People who say such absurd things show that they have AbZero grasp of what proof means, and such people should certainly never be put on a jury...

  10. What happened to the faith?  People woke up.

Why do folks climb Mt. Everest?  Because it's there.

Why do folks blame God?  Because they think He's there.

Why do folks leave God?  Because they find out He isn't.  He left a long time ago.  We're on our own, and the sooner we realize it, the sooner we can make REAL progress in human relationships.

  11. Read Matthew 24 and then read the Book of Revelations

  12. bible prophesy is what happened each generation will get worse as it is written so it shall be

  13. People no longer just follow what they are told like lemmings, we are evolving.  Our souls have been through many incarnations, and we are learning what truly matters.

  14. People wake up from their stupor, you know, it happens.  Faith is a thing with wings that can easily be killed by a wiff of common sense and reason.  People don't blame him for anything all of a sudden, they just realize that he/she/it doesn't exist.  Life ain't fair, do like the rest of humanity, adjust!

  15. Ah, I see you are new to earth.  Welcome! Psst....People don't really believe in god.  It's just a superstition.

  16. It ended with tolerance

    tGod bless

  17. Science and politics showed how much religion was holding back on the world and forgot about it. Religion used to be a massive hinderence, it isn't anymore as science and religion can go hand in hand and there are more people in western societies without faith than with faith.

Religion gave us a lot of things, but it also took away a lot and held back a lot, now people don't feel the need to have faith as they have their own meaning to life.

  18. only people of weak or no faith.

  19. Very good question.

People are looking for "proof"...i'm thinking the bible is a good place to start.

  20. Matthew 24

7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

  21. Folks today are assaulted with things coming at them from all directions. Today there is a very strong anti-God component that could even be called evangelical.

GK Chesterton said one mistake made was that the virtues have been set free and are running around alone. Socrates even said this is a mistake: virtue builds upon itself. A person cannot be truthful and occasionally dishonest, can they?

So when we talk about "faith," we should really talk about:

    Hope - for the hopeless,

Charity - pardon for the unpardonable, and of course,

Faith - belief in the impossible.

All three virtues are mysteries that only appear when necessary.

    Hope this helps.

    God love you!

    Example of a "separated" virtue:

Someone here said, "Faith is for the weak minded."

Whatever that is supposed to mean.

Another: "..we are learning what truly matters."

And what does - truly matter?
