Why don't people fall out of roller coasters at the amusement park?

  1. gravity is nullified by centripetal force created by circular motion


  2. In addition to the centripetal force, they tend to place those big shoulder straps over them on coasters that there is a possiblity of a rider falling out.

  3. Theses days you are restrained with seatbelts, or snug fitting lap bars, or those things they lower down over your shoulder...

    In the olden days they didn't care about safety as much, and you had to hold on tight!
