Here is just one of the many top MMA fighters list... http://www.completemartialarts.com/whosw...

If you look at the lightweight division, you'll see BJ Penn as number 1 which I totally agree with. But if you look at Sean Sherk's record who is in number 10, it is much better than any above him (from 2-9).. like let's look at some of the rankings.

BJ Penn #1 (I agree)

Takanori Gomi #2 - This guy is alright.. but compare his record to Sherk's

Shinya Aoki #3 - 16-2.. no wins against anybody that's that great.. what's so good about this guy?

Tatuya Kawajiri #4 - Don't even know who the h**l this guy is he doesn't even show up on Wikipedia

Gesias Calvancante #5 - 14-2, Sherk has a much better record than this with wins against harder opponents

Gilbert Melendez #6 - He's a little better than the rest but Sherk should still be ahead of him

Vitor Ribeiro #7

Mitsuhiro Ishida #8 - like who is this guy???

  1. Why did you ask this question twice?

  2. The only reason people don't give him credit is because of the whole steroid issue. Personally, I don't think that should effect anyone's view on him though as I find steroids and MMA not the greatest mix. Sure they make you stronger, but on the otherhand the extra weight you gain from muscle mass is a huge disadvantage to your cardio. I honestly think he's a sick fighter; plus his record is 35-3-1.

  3. All Sherk likes to do is lay on guys. I cant stand fighters like that. Thats why BJ beat him at his own game of standup. He is a good fighter but he doesn't do enough to me to make himself standout from the crowd.

You cant forget about Roger Huerta who is a beast, Kenny Florian and even young Nate Diaz is on the rise.

  4. 1) People don't trust you after you test positive for steroids.

    2) You sound like the kid who can't understand why some Japanese wrestler he's never heard of, is ranked higher than his hero Stone Cold Steve Austin, and even though he's never seen it he thinks Japanese pro wrestling can't be any good because none of them are in the good old US of A.

    3) You want to bet those guys are on the Japanese version of Wikipedia?

    4) Sorry, I missed the part where you only want answers that agree with you.
