Why don't people like gingers?

They're just picking on you being different.  But bear in mind lots of other people get hassled for all kinds of different things, like being short or fat or of a different race or from the wrong neighbourhood or whatever.  Think of some ginger people who people consider hot, like Marcia Cross off Desparate Housewives, the lead singler of Queens of the Stoneage, etc, etc.

If it's that bad you can just dye your hair!  But a short person can't stretch themselves taller!

Its not that people don't like them, its that people love to pick on minorities! I think some people with ginger hair are stunning, take that girl from Girls Aloud, but she was made to feel that she would look better brown- really glad to see that she's gone back to being ginger. People dont like what is different to themselves. Just ignore the ignorant!!! I'm blonde and I'm not dumb- people just love stereostypes, gingers have fiery tempers, it just how society is, its wrong but thats how it is.

I wouldn't have thought many people genuinely hate them - that would take a really mean and shallow person. I think most of it is just gentle teasing, and if the "teasee" can take a joke, then all is fine.

h**l, one of my best friends is a ginge, and I mock her daily - but she doesn't mind (I hope!)

because people are stoopid these days and think it is funny to take the mick out of people who are ginger and with skin tones different say to them when they say a name well at least im different.
