Why don't people understand that bigotry is equal to racism? Technically they both mean the same thing, except bigotry can be called to all concepts. Anyways, what makes a religous bigot or any other kind of bigot any different than a racist? Aren't they both equally bad? Explain.

  1. a bigot is not necessarily a racist ... but a racist is a bigot.... both are prejudice.

  2. I agree, they are equally wrong. Perhaps racism had received more public attention, so bigotry (especially religious and supremist types) are not noticed as much.
