Why don't restaurants have breakfast delivery? Lunch and dinner are delivered, why not breakfast?

I think breakfast delivery to offices would do great business and perhaps for brunches, etc. I am surprised it's never been done.

  1. what a great idea!  maybe you should contact a few nearby restaurants and suggest this.

some offices have pastry carts, some have vending machines, but give me a great omelet over any of that stuff!

you have a very good money making idea.  maybe you could start your own business.

  2. because the lazy stoners, who normally call take-out, are still asleep, and don't want breakfast

  3. I think it's because:

    a) breakfast is easy enough to make that almost anyone can do it at home

    b) the delivery probably costs more than the breakfast itself, so the economics might not work out

    c) these days, big breakfasts aren't popular anymore - the new trend is to eat a light, healthy meal in the morning

  4. Some businesses like people who cater parties will do breakfast, however most people including myself one get up too late and they already stopped serving breakfast, two people don't want to have pancakes and stuff delivered and people who eat cereal... can you imagine someone delivering cereal? I think not enough people would get breakfast, and also they would need to pay their people more to do the job for not enough customers and they would lose money. I think it's just too much of a hassle.
