Are non-yahoo addressees restricted to join yahoogroups?

  1. I'm not sure but I have my mail served set to send all yahoo and hotmail emails to trash can, that may be the problem your having, the receiver has yahoo groups blocked or set as spam mail


  2. invites are glitchy and have been for almost a year- some get the many never do. you can send them to any address, not just yahoo.com, although some see them as spam and that's the folder it ends up in or blocked totally.

    if you have a closed membership group, you're limited to only sending invites

    if it's not a closed group, send them the direct link of the home page and they can join by clicking the great big blue tab Join This Group
