He's got way more going on than Orton or Grossman. Who cares if he's a rookie when he is so much better than the vets.

  1. You have to understand that Hanie is performing against guys who are not going to be in the NFL.  The defensive players he faces are going to be cut in days.  Don't take too much stock in his performances this preseason.  I know Chicago is starved for QBs, but Hanie is 3rd on the depth chart, end of story.

  2. The more games they lose, the closer they get to the first overall pick to pick a QB like stafford or carpenter.

  3. I wish...on both counts (they would start Hanie, and they'd get a top pick QB!)  However, neither will happen.  Lovie has the history of sticking with his QB's until they're toast.  And if they get the top pick, or even a top 10 pick, Angelo will trade it away for 2 lower picks so he doesn't have to pay the salary of a high draft choice.  OR, they will keep the high pick and blow it (See: Salaam, Rashaan. Enis, Curtis.  Benson, Cedric. Terrell, David.  McNown, Cade. Haynes, Michael.)
