  1. Tibetians fight for their rights constantly.  They are oppressed.  Have you read or seen stories on how the Chinese govt mistreat them?  I think they aren't being heard loud enough from civil rights organizations.

  2. When you make statements about what you don't know, it makes you look really foolish.

  3. Tibetans are not ethnically Chinese and speak a language not related to Chinese.  Their language has its own script, unrelated to Chinese ideograms.  They have their own separate history, religion, culture, foods.  If you wish to learn more about Tibet, the only Tibetan Museum in the United States is the Jacques Marchais Tibetan Museum, 338 Lighthouse Hill Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10306.  I am sure they would be glad to answer any serious questions you may have if this location is inconveniently too far to visit.

  4. Why don't the Northern Irish stop complaining about being British?   Why do the Texans continue to say, "A Whole Other Country!"  Why don't the Chechins stop complaining about being Russian?  Why don't those darn northern neighbors of the US finally admit they are Americans and abolish Canada?  Why don't the Albanians in Kosovo quit trying to say they aren't Serbian?

I could go on and on.  This is an ethnic, racial and political question.  Tibetans are not Chinese in any way except that the government of the People's Republic of China says they are Chinese.   The other examples are there for their own reasons and make about as much sense.
