  1. Because America is a capitalistic country.

  2. How can You say it's "free"?

    NOTHING is  "free".

Shoplifters think when they steal something, that it was "free".

Their ANIMALISTIC reasoning is limited, to say the least.

    Their family, friends, neighbors

and they themselves pay higher  prices for everything else

to cover the cost of their theft.

But if You explained it to them, they wouldn't believe You.

They would just call You a greedy, bigoted,  racist  A$$hole.

    Hence, the Democratic Party.

Once You put the government in charge of your healthcare...

    what's wrong with you people...

Once you put the government in CONTROL of YOUR

    healthcare ...

The government is the only entity that can

legally use physical FORCE as a means to accomplish it's

    goals.

    Government is known,

(or used to be, before "public" "education"/indoctrination),

government is known as a necessary EVIL !

Once they have control of your healthcare and medicine...

They, literally,  have you, "by the balls" or any other

part of your anatomy they choose.

  3. The NHS IS SOCIALISM!!! It is the redistribution of wealth from those who contribute to society the most to the least successful people in the country.

Why should someone who eats healthy, exercises, refrains from drugs, and is very careful with their health pay for the lung transplant of a fat, smoker?

And don't use the argument that people with pre-existing conditions don't get healthcare. You don't slam your car into a wall and demand cheap Geico car insurance.

With our healthcare system you get a choice. A choice between buying health insurance or not. A choice between the different health insurance providers. You get no choice with socialist systems like NHS. You are forced to pay for everyone's healthcare.

In Britain, a limit was put in place that required that anyone would be treated within 30 minutes of entering the hospital. So, they started lining up people outside. There were ambulances full of dying people sitting outside because of that healthcare syste.

Since when has the USA done what the UK does. We had the revolutionary war to get away from Britain's high taxes and regulation.

  4. Because this country has been brain washed by idiots. Iwish we had a NHS type system, but we don't.

  5. Because it costs too much money.

  6. The National Health system in Britain sucks. If you want to see a doctor you have to wait like a month and plus since the doctors know they are getting paid regardless, they don't provide decent service. I do agree the USA should make helath care affordable, but if we had universal health care, our quality is going to go down and you would have to wait a long time to see a doctor.

  7. Because the Military and killing people in other countries in the name of oil is more important.

Has anyone ever seen Sicko? Most other healthcare systems are so much better than that of the US. Not as many people die because everyone has equal access to the healthcare system. What's wrong with that? Too many people in the US die everyday because they can't get approved for medical coverage. Sick people cost money.

    It's as simple as that!

  8. Because Americans don't like socialism.

  9. And it isn't free.  The taxpayers have to pay for it.  Who's going to run it?  The same Bozos who ran our Social Security System into the ground?  No thank you.

  10. Universal healthcare doesn't work. When that system is put into effect, this happens: The price of healthcare is lowered. Seems good right? Doctors pay is the same or lower even with seeing 4X the patients. Patients then have to wait extremely long for anything other than a checkup or an emergency. An old lady may have to wait 4 months to get a hip replacement. Doctors would go on strike, and demand more pay. Then the cost of healthcare would rise again.

  11. Because nothing is free. In America, we have a free market system that lets hospitals and doctors compete for customers and their money. Almost any kind of medical treatment that you need can be had in a very short order if you can afford it. If you have a life threatening emergency, you will be given treatment even if you can't afford it. If you need a joint replaced, you could have it in less than a week but you will have to have a way to pay for it. Universal health care is paid for by tax money, you are still paying for it, just you don't get any choice about what you get. You receive care on a first come, first served basis. You will see the doctor that is the next available, and they get paid by what the government says they will be paid. If you need a joint replaced, you are put on a waiting list, for when the government decides that they can give it to you and when they have budgeted it for you (May take months). Also the government can put other people in front of you, younger people are more important than older people, skilled people over the unskilled. So, which do you want? You can choose your doctor and get fast service, but you have to pay for it. Or you can pay more taxes and take what ever doctor and service that the government gives you.

  12. If you allow the state to care for your every need, they will dictate your needs and you will be without choice.  Liberty is not possible if we give up our right to free choice.

  13. We don't like Socialism. We like high quality health care. We like to pay our own way. We want every individual to stand up, work,  and produce something. Socialism just protects the lazy bums that live off society like leaches, and drags down the whole society.

  14. if people would stop suing doctors to try and get rich quick we would have an affordable health care system
