Question:

Why don't the add-ons on my firefox work when i download them?

also, when i try to delete them, it keeps telling me that i must restart firefox, but when i do, it continues to tell me the same thing.

  1. you have to go onto the website and then sign up and restart your computer +firefox  


  2. wel u might be using addons that are not compatible with your  version of firefox 2.xx or 3.xx

    try downloading the compatible one

  3. well after u install the add ons u have to restart firefox and then sometimes u have to tell firefox that u want it to use them. go to:

    tools>add ons

    a window should pop up listing ur installed add ons. click the one u want to work and the click enable or something like that....u might have to start firefox again for it to initialize

  4. The only explanation I can think of is that Firefox remains in the RAM after closing. Just check this by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del > "Processes" tab. If there are any instances of firefox yet running, just click on them and on the "End process" button.

    Then just restart Firefox. Your add-ons should get installed now.
