People are ignorant of the power of water.

Without it there cannot be life.

It has the power both to sustain and destroy life by cleansing and feeding us and also by carrying disease if it is not treated properly.

You can destroy a fire with water before it gets out of hand, But you cannot stop a flood - You can only cope with the aftermath.

they are selfish.as well and don't look or wait for future which sometimes should be done and sometimes not.............

Because people are selfish and spoiled.  I just had this conversation with 3 other people yesterday.  Three of us were talking when the 4th joined in.  The whole time she was holding a hose that was running full blast into a drain pan that empties into a septic tank.  Her friend asked "Why are you wasting all of that water?"  The woman replied that we will never run out of water.  I chimed in with "According to everything I've read lately that's not true."  She shot me a look and said "That's BS".   My husband then - as a jab at this ignorant woman - said something rather thought provoking:  "Not as long we're melting the polar icecaps."  When I told her that we had managed to cut our water consumption by 1/3 just by catching rain water in a plastic 55 gallon drum to water our dogs and our garden with, she said "That's ridiculous!"  I think she's ridiculous.  Anyway, she's old and probably doesn't care as long as she won't be around to be affected by it.

Thats because they really don't bother of what might happen if there is no water in future. Such people should be sent to live in desert for quite some time, only then they will understand.
